About Me:
Steve is a native of Idaho born and raised in Boise, Idaho. Steve received his BBA in Marketing from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho and a minor in Computer Science. He worked in the semiconductor industry for 14 years (AMI & Micron).
Steve is now celebrating his 14th year of Real Estate in the Treasure Valley. In 1993 he acquired his real estate license and has consistently been a top producer for over a decade. In 1995 he became an Associate Broker and managed the Eagle Group One real estate office for over 3 years. In 1999 he was elected to the Ada County Association of Realtors Board of Directors for a 2 yr. term. Steve was elected again to another 3 year term on the ACAR Board of Directors for 2006-2008. Steve’s latest and greatest venture to date has been opening his new real estate brokerage firm with great partners Larry Coelho, Jean Cariaga, and Georgia Mackley. Smith & Coelho was opened in April of 2005. They expanded their brokerage firm to include the Valley County area in September of 2005. Smith & Coelho moved into their own office in Eagle in January of 2007.
Steve has been married to his childhood sweetheart Debbie for over 35 Years. They have raised 3 beautiful children - Jeremy, Angela & Melissa and revel in the joy of their 3 grandchildren - Taylor Marie age 7, Carson Joseph age 4 & Aubriana Rae 11 months. Steve and his family are members of the Cathedral of the Rockies. He enjoys sharing interest in boating, biking & skiing with his family.
