Born in Seattle (before it was “cool”), Vicky grew up exploring the Northwest’s advantages: boating in the San Juan Islands, skiing and hiking Mt. Rainier and Snoqualmie Pass, and riding horses in Washington State Bridle Trails State Park. A feast of outdoor adventure, for sure. However, when she came to Idaho to work in Sun Valley for Union Pacific Railroad--the unfamiliar, daily, glorious sunshine she experienced there convinced her that Idaho was where she would call home. So as soon as she graduated UW, she moved to Idaho.
After years of teaching skiing and riding and hiking the Sawtooth Mountains, she moved to Boise with her two children and began a satisfying career of teaching English in the public schools: Boise High and BSU.
When her husband, Larry, launched Smith & Coelho as Broker, she obtained her real estate license and joined the firm. She now lives in Eagle with her husband, a horse and two German Shepherd Dogs.
As a Realtor, Vicky says, “real estate is a collaborative effort.” She sees her job is to ensure that her clients secure their best outcome. She works for an equitable and gratifying win for all!
